I don't know where you live in the state, but I would guess that most folks in the cities of Missouri are like most folks in the state of Illinois when it comes to the WBTS. I don't doubt that there are those who have an interest but most don't. If you were to stand on the corner of any town of any size and ask passersby what thier opinion of the war is, they would not have an opinion. Most young folks would not know what you are referring to. That is part of SHAPES reason for existing to educate the uneducated. Is that right George?
Here where I live in the Land of Lincoln in abes home town we have a hard time getting many young folk to come to Civil War Roundtables. When they do for the most part it is because GrandPa brings them. I think they find it boring. Just my opinion.
