My opinion you had it pegged closer to the truth the first time. To bad some of these graet and glorious northern states didn't return all of the Southern flags. Surely that would be an equal or greater sentiental sight, don't you agree?
It is true the Almighty Lord was on the side of the North, he knew if the South won the North couldn't carry the burden!!!!
