George, I do agree...however...there's that word. There has for example been much back slapping and guffaws on this board over N.B.F. and his many ride arounds and victories over yankees. Guess what? I support your right to revel in your victories. The thing is you can expect the same from us. We certainly aren't going to regret that we lost the war. The digs go both ways. Lincoln has been compared to Hitler, Stalin etc. Also Confederates have been compared to Nazis...note that I have never made these staements...now I usually let little Yankke slurs slide (well sometimes). The thing is if everyone is going to be hyper-sensitive over every little remark we'll end up doing nothing but going back and forth. I don't apologize for my views to anyone nor do I expect one from you for yours.

Our present social and political views are very similar. We have both stood up against injustice. Especialy that done to a SOUTHERN couple. You and I both know though our views are opposed on the ACW and also to some degree on the Indian question. We have blasted each othe back and forth when I first came on here. I'm not going to even start thinking about that again. I'm not going to get into name calling with a man I consider a buddy, I will say this . I don't apologize for my views or anything I post on this board. Well, I am sorry for the childish way I acted with you at first, but as for my views on issues they go as stated.
