I don't have an agenda, just an interest in the topics and subjects discussed at this site. This site is accessable globally and is named "News and Views" which indicates to me that alot of what I read here are "views". My posts are my "views" and not accompanied by citations or footnotes. History is an interest and hobby with me, not my passion or vocation. My interest stems from family history tied to this region, (Mainly Arkansas, IT, Mississippi, and Alabama. Directly or indirectly, my ancestors fought on both sides and some didn't fight at all. No matter their position, all were affected by the war. None benefited. As to the cause of the CW, I believe that it was Money and Morals....Joe
