As far as the "Staunton" flag making operation;
Let's see its based on a document that a "friend told me about. I can't remember his name now or where he found it". (Biggs)

And for an example I'll use a document found for the Macon Depot!! As if Macon has anything at all
to do with Staunton!!

Show me a real document that indicates Staunton as a flag manufacturing depot.
Madaus based his theory of the Staunton Depot on sheer guesswork. He found (and showed) nothing
to prove that theory. Some have followed his every utterance like sheep. I have not.
Do I believe that the flag in Milwaukee was made in Staunton; hell no! But, its made of "challis" like the other "Staunton" flags. It could have been made anywhere. And that is my point!!
