So, it seems, that you still cannot verify the
hearsay evidence that would confirm Staunton
as a source of flags.
Remember the "Atlanta" depot flags? Turned out
that they actually came from Augusta. I lnow that
the "Atlanta" moniker was another Madaus theory.
You, in fact, were insturmental in finding the docs.

The "Staunton" theory is completely void of solid
evidence of being factual (just like Atlanta).
The subtle variances in the make-up of the flags
that sparked this conversation do not indicate a
place or origin. They only seem to mean a different
set of hands manufactured them or that a scarcity
of raw materials caused them to be altered by the
same hands.
Here's another theory. What about Charlottesville,
Lynchburg, Lexington, or even Richmond?

Sorry folks this is begining to rival the Biggs-Ennis/
Ford obsession.
Perhaps it should be taken to another venue.?
