..Thanks... I like a challenge.... I tend to have a knack for finding stuff that frequently was ellusive to many others.. checking and digging through alternate sourses and places that sometimes reveals more important clues and data where most wouldnt expect to find it... and beyond where the majority typically stop at... I do a great deal of research for various things, so well familier with seeking out the missing and ellusive pieces parts to things.... I go for original sources, not rely solely on what someone elses book may have mentioned... no biases, dig for the evidence and let the evidence speak for itself.... Wish I had the means to get up to the NA to do some serious digging there too... Also wish I had access to Madeus old files..... Might take a little time but active on the trail.... lol...

... Familier with Maj Bell.... he was one of the QM primaries there but there were a number of other QM folks also working out of or assigned to the Depot during its service time. If memory serves correctly he was the one that loaded up his records and files into the baggage train when Staunton was being threatened by Federal Cavalry raids... They captured and burned the wagons and the records he personally had.... Would love to see the artifacts you have one day, Im about an hour SE of you.... west of Richmond..
