Thank you very very much for the Cazadores info. Now, is this the same outfit as the 5th Regiment, European Brigade, Company C, Louisiana Militia (Spanish Regiment)? I found Joaquin S. DeAngulo on the familysearch.org site in their United States Civil War Soldiers Index. Do you think this Co. C was made up of all Spainards? I have never found any info on when my ancestor came to America and wondered if he could even speak English.
