But you missed the point, Southerners back before the War did not want to work for a major corporation. There was more to living than just making money. They worked on their name, mine ancestors were Carpenters/farmers. From what I have read the Southerner of yesteryear liked to go get a drink at the bar around two in the afternoon, the average employer frowned on this as it cut down productivity. The parabellum Southerner went to work, workedas long as he felt needed and went home to work his farm. They raised a garden for food, cattle for meat and dairy and hogs, they ate a lot of hogs. It was passed down to me, (this chile do like his pig),,,,LOL. But there was also a cash crop to which they sold. They did not need the Major corporation nor did they want it. They worked at their trade and farmed their land. The Rich Yankee said, now you have to progress, change is good, factories are away of the future, Government Controlled "central" banking is the way for our nation to grow.
