I can only suspect that Doyle has plumbed the Federalist Papers from top to bottom. That is where I thought he might have found some mention of secession. However, his recent respones suggest otherwise, or I may be wrong and he may not have reviewed the Federalist Papers as thoroughly as I thought he might have.
