It is a fact you have changed your wording.

Davis WAS CHARGED with treason. Only after I showed you that he had been charged, did you say prosecute. Now you talk about being brought to trail. Your original post was incorrect.

Wrong, because many northern and federal officials wished to extend amnesty to most Confederates in order to speedily reconstruct the Union. Andrew Johnson implemented a sweeping amnesty policy shortly after coming into office. I just provided evidence in a response to Stephen that Supreme Court Chief Justice Chase embraced an amnesty policy as well.
So far you have not provided any actual historical evidence to back up your claims. Do you have any?
