T. R. as I memtioned in my previous post,I am beginning to wonder just how much secession had to do with the war. By that very act the seceding states gave Lincoln the rest of the country to do with as he please. All he had to do was leave these 6 states along, yet he refused to do so. Was it a craving for power or did he actually love the Union that much? See my point?
