Pam, I know we have gotten way off the original post, but that was my fault, but anyway I will finish my part with this. It is strange that you mentioned Lookout Mountain. My wife just found out that one of her ancestors was Colonel Sidney Barnes. According to a history of the Barnes family "Col. Barnes earned accolades when his regiment of Union troops was the first to reach the summit of Lookout Mountain" Now what is wrong with that statement, first and foremost the word " Union". I had several ancestors that served, but they all were Confederate. I asked her if she knew what that meant, her answer is NO, I told her that we had to get a divorce, that I could not be married to anyone with Union in the same sentence with their name. Now you can imagine how well that went over, but naturally I was just joking, but it did sound good.
