I know that Ferrell's battery was formed and organized in mid-1862 from Troup County, GA and later saw some action during Atlanta, but I can't find a lot of details. Do you know of any details during Atlanta? And plus, this leaves a two year gap from 1862-1864 in the history of the battery. Does anyone know what they did during this time???
