You ask: Regarding Lucas's battery, if it probably wasn't in Maury's brigade do you know what battery might have been assigned to Maury instead?

Here is what I have:

Teel's [Tull] Missouri battery
Extracted from Guide to Missouri Confederate Units, 1861-1865 By James E. McGhee
The battery is mistakenly referred to as “Teel’s Battery” in the reports of the battle of Pea Ridge.
...permanently consolidated with Captain Hiram Bledsoe’s battery about April 21, thereby ending its service as a separate organization.

Maury writes-"... Van Dorn replied, "I appreciate your soldierly feelings, and assure you I will not disappoint you by keeping you in an office any longer than may be necessary for the organization of my army, when I will secure for you a proper command in the field." I was accordingly promoted to brigadier-general after the Elkhorn campaign, and had an opportunity to make up a fine Bgde, and very soon after a fine division."

5/17 Col Moore says he did not know that Col Bradfute had anything to do with the pickets and that he instructed Col Rogers to use his discretion in posting his pickets-5/18 forwarded by M Gen S Jones

5/18 Lt Col W P Rogers cdg 2nd Tex Regt to Maury AAG-on 5/14, I was ordered by Col Moore cdg Maury’s Bgde to relieve the 3rd La then on picket on the Farmington road…which I did. But, I found a gap of 5-600 yards from the reserve…& sent a note to Col Moore about it

5/30 Maury will assume command of Sam Jones Div G O #33 A of West

6/21 Priceville, Hqs A of the West, S O #5-Gen Moore cdg 1st ? Bgde, 3rd Div is relieved from court martial duty now sitting in this place

6/30 Gen J C Moore, 1st Bgde reports for duty [Moore’s Bgde is shown as 2nd on the 6/30 table but 1st by the time of the 7/30 table]
