See I told you there were other issues besides slavery. You argue that the south was fighting only for slavery, yet you never argue the point they were also fighting for the benefit of the freed slaves (Mississippi Secession Doc) why is that. You see that is my whole point of contention with you post, you have no desire to admit other causes beside slavery was involved and you NEVER tell this point in the secession docs. I do know that you have read the secession doc, especially Texas. Each time you only mention maintaining the institution of slavery. I believe you practice selective reading. Let’s look and see if we can find more.

Even though Mississippi stated our "postition is thourgly---" don't you imagine they knew of these other issues also?
