I deliberately picked and chose those passages to post for one simple reason and that was to see if you would work then around to be slave connected. You did and I am not surprised. Instead of just saying yes but that was only a minor reason or cause, you did you best to connect them to the issue of slavery. Still they DO NOT have anything to do with maintaining the instruction of slavery and that institution is still NOT the ONLY cause of the war as you try to project. If that is the only reason you want to have YOUR folks fighting for fine, just don’t say it was the whole cause of the Confederacy and everyone else’s ancestors. I have said it all along that you have a close-minded biased opinion and you just proved it.

Just reminder slavery WAS legal at the time and Lincoln had no intention of freeing the slaves, but you don't care about that do you?
