Re: to Phil
To my way of thinking what you tried to do more than once was put a little retired school teacher
with 40 years of public service in her place. You made a point to quote me more than once, so I must
have upset your apple cart.
You said it laid there for days being unchallenged. No one was going to challenge my posting because for the
most part they agreed. It was less than two days and I checked it myself.
I did not want to be put in my place and you have been on the band box ever since raving on about Shiloh.
What kind of person carries on and argues for days on end.
I told you at the time it was "well stated and just your opinion."
I guess you could not handle the fact that a woman would tell you something of that nature.
I posted a truthful post and you have been irate ever since about one thing or another.
Your disrespect for Jim Martin and the rest of us is clear.
All I did was share what my own late saintly mother observed and stated.
My mother was the grandchild of a survivor of Shiloh and that which she observed was simply a way of
saying how the Southern people felt. If you could take a show of hands right now, you would get my message.
They were Confederates and they died Confederates on the field of honor, in the horrible prisons, and
from the no good Carpetbaggers that came after the war who took everything and left the women and children to starve.
No need to respond because I have had my say.
