Very interesting post. So one could say that the abolitionist in the in the North instigated the war in part, by trying to insite a slave insurrection in the South and the South felt it necessary to resort to secession? So since the U. S. Governments unwillingness to act on the Abolists terrorist conspiracy to incite a slave rebellion led the South to, at least in part, to secede from the Union.If I'm understanding my history correctly many in the South were agreeable to abolishing slavery if they were compensated for their slaves? An unreasonable compromise? In my opinion, it seems to me many in the North wanted a war with the South no matter what the South did concerning the slavery issue? Does the events of 1860-1861 not bear this out? Reads like a conspiracy Novel.LOL.
