Alan, music is a funny business. It takes a lot of drive, which Ms. Nicks no doubt has in spades. My wife was born a month before her, April 27, 1948, in Macon, Georgia, home of some noted musicians: Otis Redding, the Allman Brothers Band, Little Richard, and, more recently, Jason Aldean. Phil Walden, founder of Capricorn Records, was also from Macon. My wife, Georgianne, has a music degree from Carson Newman College, and a beautiful classical soprano voice. She never had the desire to follow her talent, except to sing in Church, which she still does. She sang the part of the mother Superior in the college's production of The Sound of Music. While at USC I was privileged to see a work print of the movie version, with Julie Andrews, along with most of the Hollywood stars of the 60s. It got a standing ovation. When Georgianne and I met several years later, this commonality gave us something to talk about. We've been married for 36 years, now. Our daughter graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, with a Music Business degree. She worked for Capricorn Records in Atlanta until Walden sold the company. She went to work for the Georgia Department of Labor about six years ago, and is now Assistant Manager of Employer Accounts. (They collect unemployment taxes from employers, and set the rates.)

I realize I'm rambling, Alan, but the point is, with music, you never know what might happen! Of course, I went from Navy Combat Cameraman to Unemployment Insuance Policy Analyst, in 34 fast years! LOL BTW, what prompted your move from the sunny wet south to sunnier, drier, Arizona, if I'm not being too nosy. If you get near the border, keep your head down! I understand it can be like the WTBS.
