", (Chronic Diarrhoea) granted sick leave March 27, 1862, resigned May 31, 1862

* This company subsequently became Company F, 21st Regiment Georgia Infantry, which regiment originally consisted of nine companies and was known as the 4th Battalion (Mercer's) Georgia Infantry. Capt. J. B. Akridge's Company, Georgia Volunteers, was attached to the battalion and with nine other companies constituted a regiment September 5, 1861
