Dennis, I'm sure some Yankees have a faded photograph or two. Which may be why they initially post on this board. You're right in the sense the war was fought in the South, no doubt bringing that reality closer to home. I don't think northerners contemplate the war in nearly the percentage or spend as much time as they do in the South. I think another pertinent question might be is why do Yanks never stay on this board. Not a lot of us around.
