Well, hey there fellow Coastie. I served in the Navy then switched to the Coast Guard in midstream. After Vietnam the Navy just wasn't the same anymore -- no more adrenalin rushes, you know? But the Coast Guard always seemed to have exciting things going on. Quite a few PBR boys and Operation Market Time folks transferred to the Coast Guard after the war.
