Yeah John like Dad used to say "they don`t make `em like that anymore". Dad was a tough feller himself, when he was 60 (and I was 23) I could not keep up working with him,LOL.

One of my relatives wrote an account of the winter of 1830/31 where he said in places they had cut trees for firewood and fence rails ...when snow melted the stumps were 5 feet tall...livin in log cabins with only a fireplace for heat you would have to be tough..
