I read somewhere recently, I think in Civil War Times, that FDR learned from the tactics Lincoln used in expanding executive power to put some of the depression programs into place. The same might be said about soem of the things George Bush has done, whatever one thinks about them. Sometimes it seems that everything is related, to some degree. Stan
