You claimed that slavery was not a "hot button" issue at the outbreak of the war. I showed that indeed it was a very important matter---it was THE issue that the men leading the South into secession were talking about.

How do you know that historians, the federal government, and NPS are skewing facts? I'm not saying that every historian or NPS employee is absolutely accurate in everything they say or write. But differences of opinion and honest errors are much less significant than intentional misinformation or academic dishonesty. Do you have evidence of intentional dishonesty?
