So, on one hand you say no one brought up national emancipation, even though it only needed one person to address it on the floor of Congress. Then, in your very next message, you claim that many people in power were radical abolitionists who agitated strongly for their interests. So, which is it? Were people pushing for immedicate emancipation or not?
