I do not have any handguns though I would like to have a 40 caliber, but I do own a late 1820's to early '30's muzzle loading double barreled shotgun. It was made by William Ketland of Birmingham, England and it was converted from a flintlock to a percussion weapon. I do not know this gun's history....how long it has been in the U.S. It pre-dated the WBTS and for all anyone knows was in service during that war. Anyway, I would never shoot live ammo in it, but I have used it for re-enactments on several occassions as a member of the Confederate Bushwhacking Department. It is a fine weapon...good balance...reliable...never let's me down.
