Man, you're right on about the hillbilly/Southern thing. I'm constantly getting these internet pictorials of redneck this and redneck that. Guy will have the front fork of a bicycle welded onto the frame of a lawnmower, but that says "redneck," not creative. I think redneck is the new Yogi Berra-ism, where you have these Harvard-educated pukes sitting around all day dreaming up these things.

Have to admit that I laugh at some of 'em, but in many cases, you have to give 'em credit for conquering their environment, or as Hank Williams, Jr. said:

"A country boy can survive."
