Alan, I guess I think different than a lot of people. I don't know if you know it but my grandfather is a full blood Mohawk. Thing is I don't go complaning about the plight of the "Native American". Don't even use that term. I'se say Indian or the tribe, they belong to. Anyone born here is a native American to me. The problem I find with this country is that folks are interested in group entitlemens not the liberty of the individual.
I can remember when rebs were held up as heros in this country. Remember the Gray Ghost? Songs like those by Johnny Horton werwe all over the place. It was common then to see disparaging articles on blacks and hispanics. The liberal media now seems to knock ANY white man, not just the South. A political truth. I don't blame you for being offended by the T word. It was a couple of us Yankee that spoke out against using it earlier this week. I'se seem to remember you were proud of it then.
