When the crew of the CSS Hunley was finally laid to rest, an editorial in a Sacramento, Ca. newspaper declared that it was shameful for Americans to be honoring traitors and compared the Hunley crew to the terrorist that bombed the USS Cole in Yemen.
That was offensive to me and many here on this board. I wrote a response to it and Mr. "Br'er Boz" (Dennis K. Boswell) asked if he could post my response to the paper to be printed...it was.

In many cases we do not have to look hard to find Southern predjudice, it usually jumps up and smacks us in the face.
