Re: A New Constitution
In Response To: Re: A New Constitution ()

John,

Lighten up a little bit, this stuff will give you a heart attack if you let it. Let me be honest, I posted my response with little thought as I said, I spent maybe 3, 4 minutes tops ripping it off. I didn't even use spell check if you notice. Man I wonder what I could do if I spent some real time on something like this?? Nah, I have neither the time nor desire to take on that amount of work, besides Jefferson and the gang had a lot of help, I would be by myself. Anyway I will be polite and answer a couple of your questions.

1. I think "Christian" pretty much defines itself don't you?

2. I addressed the issue of gay marriage

3. The KKK itself is not a religion even though they use Christian symbols. By the same token the NAACP is not necessarily a patriotic group or a civil rights group simply because they wave the American flag and scream civil rights.

4. Sure Utah can ban any religion the people of Utah that do not want practiced in their state, but when incoming rounds are getting close I would imagine a Mormon would be just as happy to see a man of the cloth regardless of his religion. By the way I just assume you agree with all the religious practices you mention since you seem to support and know quite a bit about this stuff.

5. Wouldn’t have Hindus, Buddhists etc. and so for this is a Christian nation. No need to make special concessions for these religions in the school and workplace. That brings up another interesting point, there would be no home schooling unless a person lived beyond any school district and it was impossible to attend. You see we would teach true history, not what some politician thought we should teach. Each and every student will be required to actually pass the required courses offered before advancing.

Yes isn't it the American dream, not a welfare state where people can be idiots and live off government handouts all their lives from cradle to grave. Not swarms of illegals coming into our country and telling us how we should treat them. Not a politician and his family living off the people all their lives. Not policies that are not in the best interest of America and our people yet favor outsiders. You will be expected to pay your own way and provide for yourself. I note your biggest gripe is religion, so I think I did a pretty good job for 3 or 4 minutes. And the fact I was just playing with you. Maybe I will change my mind and see if I can get into this re-writing committee or what ever it is called. Heck truth be known if I had drawn up the perfect document, you would still have some complaints wouldn't you? That is pretty much understood from the very first time you started posting.
